Adjustable Press Brake Laser Line Positioner

rotatable laser positioner gimbal for press brake
The adjustable press brake laser positioner projects a visible green reference line onto sheet metal to help operators align the workpiece before bending.
The unit can be installed on the press brake ram or another suitable flat surface. Its adjustable gimbal allows the laser direction and projection angle to be changed for different workpieces and positioning requirements.

Key Features
Adjustable Projection Angle
The rotatable gimbal allows the laser direction to be adjusted according to the workpiece and bending position.
Green Laser Line
The 520–532 nm green laser provides a visible reference line on sheet-metal surfaces.
Up to 10 Hours Working Time
A built-in 1000 mAh lithium battery supports up to 10 hours of operation after approximately 1–2 hours of charging.
Flexible Mounting
The unit can be installed on the press brake ram or another suitable flat surface.
What Is an Adjustable Press Brake Laser Positioner?
An adjustable press brake laser positioner is a visual alignment aid used to project a reference line onto sheet metal before bending.
The projected laser line helps the operator identify the intended bending position and align the workpiece with the press brake tooling.
Unlike a fixed-direction laser guide, this model uses an adjustable gimbal. The operator can rotate or tilt the laser emitter to change the direction of the projected line according to the shape, size and position of the workpiece.
It is particularly useful when one fixed laser projection direction cannot cover all positioning requirements.
Why Use an Angle-Adjustable Laser Guide on a Press Brake?
The main advantage of this model is that the projected reference line is not limited to one fixed direction.
The adjustable gimbal allows the operator to change the laser projection angle when:
- bending workpieces of different widths or shapes;
- changing the reference position on the sheet;
- working with different tooling setups;
- positioning large or irregular sheet-metal parts;
- a fixed lower-die-mounted laser cannot provide the required projection direction.
This makes the unit suitable for workshops that process different sheet-metal parts rather than repeatedly bending one standard product.
Where Is the Press Brake Laser Positioner Installed?
This model is designed for installation on the press brake ram or another suitable flat surface near the bending area.
After installation, the operator adjusts the gimbal until the projected laser line reaches the required reference position on the workpiece.
Because the projection angle can be changed, the laser does not have to remain parallel to one fixed machine axis.
Before production, the operator should verify the laser reference position against the actual tooling and bending line.

What Sheet Metal Applications Can Use the Adjustable Laser Guide?
The adjustable laser guide is intended for press brake applications where operators need a visible and flexible workpiece positioning reference.
Typical applications include:
- electrical cabinets and enclosures
- stainless-steel fabrication
- HVAC sheet-metal parts
- machinery covers and panels
- automotive sheet-metal components
- large or irregular fabricated parts
Is This a Press Brake Laser Safety System?
No. This product is a positioning aid and is not a press brake safety guarding system.
The laser projects a visible reference line to help with workpiece positioning before bending.
It does not replace a laser safety guard, light curtain, safety PLC, emergency stop or any other machine safety device required by applicable regulations.
